Teaching daily victory through faith in the Lord Jesus

WE BELIEVE...

-The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to man, living, infallible and everlasting rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason. (II Timothy 3:15-17

-The triune God is comprised of three separate and distinct personalities, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  Jesus Christ, who is God manifested in the flesh, is the second member of the Godhead, co-equal and co-eternal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. (John 1:1-5)

-Man was created good and upright.  But man, by voluntary transgression, fell from a right relationship with God.  His only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and His shed blood. (Genesis 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21)

-On the cross, Jesus Christ became sin and sickness and took the curse of poverty so we could be justified freely by His grace and partake of the blessing of Abraham (Galatians 3:13, Duet. 28:1-7)

-We believe in and practice the ordinance of water baptism. (Matthew 28:19)

-We believe in and practice the Lord’s Supper (I Corinthians 11:24-25)

-All believers are entitled to, and should ardently expect the promise of the Father, the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-5)

-The full consummation of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking in tongues. With it comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of the gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct and separate from the new birth. (Acts 1:8, I Corinthians 12:1-31, Acts 2:38, Acts 10:44-46)

-The church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God through the Spirit, with the divine appointment to fulfill the great commission. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22)

-Total prosperity:

  a. spiritual: III John 2, II Corinthians 5:17-21

  b. mental:  II Timothy 1:7  Romans 12:2

  c. physical: Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, I Peter 2:24

  d. financial: Malachi 3:10-11, Luke 6:38, II Corinthians 9:6-15

  e. social: Proverbs 3:4, Luke 2:52

-Jesus is coming again to gather all His saints to ever be with Him.

  (I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

-Those who have not accepted Jesus Christ and His redemptive work will suffer eternal separation for God. Everyone whose name is not found in the book of life shall be consigned to the everlasting punishment of the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:1-6)
